ACHS ECRN Looks for New Coordinating Team Members

Call for new members:

The ACHS Early Career Researchers Network is looking for new members to join our coordinating team and help the network develop over the next two years. The network is predominantly aimed at postgraduate research students, postdoctoral researchers, heritage practitioners, and those starting out in professional heritage practice but is open to anyone who self-identifies as "early career". As a coordinating team member, you will be able to build new connections, collaborate in the development of special issues, symposiums, and workshops, and similar. You will be part of our supportive environment and will develop new skills being part of the coordinating team.

If you would like to be involved, please email us at ecr@criticalheritagestudies.org

before June 12 2024 with:

1. a 200-word statement outlining the contribution you would bring to the coordinating team and your interest in critical heritage studies

2. a CV if you would like to submit one to support your statement

3. the names and email addresses of two colleagues or supervisors who support your nomination

4. the region you would feel most comfortable representing (for the selection process, we will refer to the 14 regions of the World Archaeological Congress  https://worldarch.org/structure/)

*Members based in areas not currently represented in the Coordinating Team, and particularly from New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, and the wider South Pacific area, particularly members of Indigenous communities or first nations interested in Critical Heritage Studies, are strongly encouraged to apply to coordinate in situ activities for the next conference.

We will soon announce the new Coordinating Team. You can familiarize yourself with our aims and current committee here and learn more about our recent activities here.
