ACHS Statement on Statements:

In May 2021, a sub-committee comprised of members of the Executive Committee deliberated the position of ACHS on public-facing statements. The following was decided - and agreed upon by a majority of the Executive Board:

"Given the diversity of the ACHS membership and legal complexity of our international organization, we do not currently have the capacity to effectively and safely take a social or political advocacy role or make formal statements in regards to specific causes on behalf of the organization"

ACHS supports its members, chapters, and committees to express their opinions. Please review the ACHS Manifesto for ACHS position.
